3 Easy and Affordable Christmas Ornament Tutorial | Hip ‘n Creative

christmas ornamentsWhat’s up guys!  I hope your having a wonderful week so far!  Today I wanted to share with you 3 super easy, fun and affordable DIY Christmas Ornament Tutorial.  I think they are so cute and I love it so much!

Pipe Cleaner Wreath Ornament

The first Christmas Ornament is a simple, yet elegant Pipe Cleaner Wreath.  What you will need for this project:

  • 4 pipe cleaners
  • pencil
  • ribbon *optional
  • rhinestones or other embelishements *optional
  • glue gun & glue

Directions:  Grab a pipe cleaner and wind it around the pencil as tightly as you can.  Then smoosh the pipe cleaner, do this to all three stems.  Then take the 4th pipe cleaner and thread it through the coiled pipe cleaners.  Next twist the threaded pipe cleaner to make the circle of the wreath.  Now is the fun part, decorating your wreath.  You can use ribbons, rhinestones, etc.  Now glue your embelishments.

glitter ball ornament

Next is the Cute and Simple Glitter Ornament.  What you will need:

  • Ornament of your choosing
  • Glue Dots
  • Glitter

All you have to do is adhere the glue dots onto the ornament and dip on glue.  That’s it super easy right?!

Snowflake Ornament

For our final DIY ornament project we will be creating Hot Glue Snowflake.  What you will need for thei project:

  • Glue Gun and Glue
  • Snowflake patter or freehand
  • parchment paper *to keep glue from sticking

This project is the easiest and the neatest in my opinion.  All you have to do is “draw” a snowflake onto parchment paper and add glitter.  You need to be super quick about it or the glue will dry before you can add the glitter.  Another alternative is to use spray paint.  Wait for the glue to dry (a few seconds) and spray with your choice of spray paint.  That’s it.

I hope this tutorial was super helpful.  As before, I made a video tutorial on my youtube channel showing you step by step my simple how to.  If you create this project, I would love to see it.  Be sure to post it on instagram tagging me @hipncreative.  I’d love to see your awesome work!

Until soon!

Awilda
