DIY Elegant Ribbon French “Braid” Vase | Dollar Tree DIY | Hip ‘n Creative

What’s up guys!  I hope you’re all feeling fabulous today.  So today I have another Dollar Tree DIY project for you!  I think this French Braid Vase tutorial is so fun, easy and so pretty too!  This would be a perfect DIY project for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, quinceaneras and so much more!  It’s super easy and inexpensive, a win win right?

For this project you will need:

  • Cylinder vases (dollar tree)
  • Candle Holders (Dollar Tree)
  • 5yrd. Ribbon (Dollar Tree or Michaels) don’t forget your 40% Michaels coupon!
  • Easter Grass (Dollar Tree) or anywhere
  • Flowers (Dollar Tree)
  • Eggs on Sticks (Dollar Tree)
  • Glue gun with Glue Sticks (or Double sided tape from Dollar Tree) or e6000 if you have any

The first thing I did was glue my candle holder to the center of the vase, if you’re using e6000 make sure to give it 24 hours before moving on to the next step.

Next I used my double sided tape (or you can use your glue gun) and adhered my ribbon to the back of the vase.

Bringing the ribbon forward I double twisted my ribbon making sure the print is showing forward (if your ribbon doesn’t have any printing no need to do this part).  I continued towards the back of the vase double twisting the ribbon again,  I did that until I reached the end of the vase.  At this point if your ribbon is long enough, you can tie a bow.

Next I filled the vase with Easter grass and arranged my flowers and easter eggs as I like and that’s it!  Super simple project and looks fabulous and is inexpensive!

If you’re a visual person, then check out my video tutorial.  While you’re at it why don’t you subscribe, I would truly appreciate it!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!

xoxo,
