Organizing my Craft Space

I have a small craft space…

To give you a better understanding, I should explain myself a bit more.  I have a large room in which it’s split into many sections, this space works as a play area for the kids, storage for seasonal items, Tan’s tools (for now), small office areas and  of course-my sanctuary- the craft space.  Because of the upcoming holiday season,  I’ve noticed a lack of organization in my craft space.  I have plenty of  knick-knacks and whatchamacallits but I haven’t had the time (or energy) to organize my area.  I have been too busy with my Etsy shop, kids after school activities, weekend catch ups and the regular chores and emergency visits to sick family members that I’ve let my sanctuary suffer the consequences.

This weekend I’ve decided to stop putting off my responsibilities and get cracking on organizing.  I planned on going into that room and just giving it a complete overhaul.  Before getting started, I decided to go online and visit a few sites for inspiration.  Here are a few items I’d like to buy/make so I can have a better organized space:

I also realized that in my attempts to organize my work space, I also need to be a bit more organized in cyberspace as well.  I really got to get crackin’ on a method to my madness.  I have a habit of being a bit scattered since that’s how my mind works.  I have a million thoughts running through my head at any given time.  So, from now on, I’ll be carrying my trusty notebook with me and jotting down a few thoughts as to what I’d like to create, blog, cook, bake, clean… you get the picture.  (Yes clean cause there are times when I decide to clean and I tear apart the room to scrub it down and a few hours later I’d be  exhausted from all the hard work that nothing else gets done!?).  Anywhoo… I better get started on what I’d like to do first… Hmmmm… Looks like I’m getting myself into trouble!  Wish me luck! 😀
