Ok confession time: I am not a naturally organized person. I struggle with finding ways to keep my home organized, especially my kitchen and bathroom. For me organizing those two spaces are big challenges. So I decided to get down and tackle these spaces. I started with under the kitchen sink and to be honest I was not too thrilled with how messy it was. I’m a little embarrassed to even show you how messy it was. Here is a before photo so you can see what I’m working with: Continue reading
I have a vanity I love, and even though I am not big on make up I do like to wear it on occasion or when I feel like stepping up my wardrobe game. Today I wanted to share with you my recent vanity cleaning and organization. It is so nice to have everything I need in a neat and organized space. The best part of is that I freed up some much needed space and my vanity desk top is clean and clear!

Hey friends! I hope your all feeling great today! I’m feeling pretty good, I have been working on ORGANIZING my CRAFT ROOM with items I bought from the Dollar Tree and Target Dollar Spot. While I was working on my craftroom my hubby was working on the attic replacing duct work that has gone bad. While he was up there he found my old Pegboard. Needless to say I was uber excited to have that bad boy again! It was a bit warped from being stored away but I was able to get it back to normal again!
Here is a pic of my pegboard from my instagram @hipncreative:
If you aren’t following me there, you should totally start now, it would mean so much to me! I also made a video where I give you a quick tour of my pegboard. How I have it styled currently and how we mounted the pegboard as well as how I painted and mounted the Ikea spice rack.
Thank you so much for stopping by and until next time guys! Have a fabulous day!

What’s up guys! I love love love my Happy Planner! Over the passed 3 monthsI have become obsessed with decorating and organizing it for future use. Ever since I decided to be a bit more organized with my day to day I find that I accomplish a lot more than I have before. Now being totally honest with you, there are days that I am a confused mess. I don’t always plan properly then find myself wishing I remembered the Drs appointment or that my daughter’s orchestra fee was due!
But now with my Happy Planner from Me and My Big Ideas, those forgotten days have become less -a lot less. Now I am NOT being sponsored by them in any way (although I wish I was), I just really like them 🙂 Ok so on to my happy planner decorating: One of the things I like to do is go online an find some inspiration. I just google what I want my theme to be or find a free planner printable on pinterest and some cute washi tape and I start decorating. There’s no wrong way to decorating your planner, it really is up to you and what you think it should look like. I leave a lot of white space on my planner because there are times when I get a last minute entry.
If you’re interested in purchasing your own planner, I suggest going to your local Michael’s or Hobby Lobby craft stores. There are quite expensive at $30 each but you can use a 40% coupon to save some dough. Plus they also have some cute planner accessories that would go great with your Happy Planner.
