Summer Vacation

Phew!!!  Am I tired!!  The passed few days have been full non stop projects as well as the last day of class for my eldest girl.  We’ve been getting ready for the summer by getting a kiddie pool as well as planning some trips for the summer.  Summer Vacation is officially today and I can’t wait to get started on some fun and fabulous outings!

Over the weekend we went to the Drive-In with the girls to see Toy Story 3 and as an added bonus invited my SIL and MIL to join us.  Sadly one of my SIL had previous plans and couldn’t come but will hopefully join us at another time.  The movie was cute and the girls loved it (of course- Tan enjoyed it too)  I liked it but think TS 1 and 2 were way better than the third.  I’m not going to spoil the movie for you so I’ll just leave it at that.  We wanted to stay for Prince of Persia: Sands of Time but it was getting late and Tan had to take care of a few things the following morning; and I forgot to bring a change of clothes for our baby girl (for any potty training accidents).  Hopefully soon, we’ll have a chance to go back and watch another movie.

We also spent a lovely Father’s Day visiting family and eating BBQ as well as some last minute shopping.  My BFF came by for a visit as well and we had loads of fun playing board games, eating cookies and pizza for dinner YUM!  All in All a wonderful weekend and I hope to have many more!~
