Space Saving Board Game Organization you need to Try
This post is about space saving board game organization you need to try now.
We are a huge board-game family. Whether it’s monopoly, Parcheesi, clue or scrabble, we love playing. I’m one that is always looking for ways to organize my home and save as much space as possible.
I’ve always liked the idea of walking into a clean open space that is not only neat and pretty but also organized. My theory is that the more organized the space is the easier it is for me to keep it that way. I have seen the idea floating around Pinterest and thought to give it a try.
Boardgames are fun and a great way to entertain friends and family alike. Obviously you know that or you wouldn’t be reading this posts right? Although they are fun to play with they can be a pain to store. Many boardgames take up a lot of space and if it’s like my house the board games don’t always get put back in their place. And since boardgames come in different shapes and sizes it can sometimes look like a garbled mess.
Today I want to share with you how I organize some of our board-games with these simple items.
Board-Game Organization Supplies you’ll need:
- Zipper bags
- Boardgames, Card Games, Puzzles
- Packing Tape
- Scissors
- Storage bin or Box
First gather all of the boardgames and puzzles you want to place in the bags. Measure your boardgames sizes so you know what size bag you’ll need. Count how many bags are needed and what size.
Make sure to order the next size up for large game so you can include any game pieces it has.
Cut out the boardgame to create a label and tape it onto the zipper bag with packing tape. Make sure the game pieces fit and if they do, tape the label first before adding the pieces that way it is nice and flat.
If you rather create your own labels, like I did then you will need to print out the labels on your computer and using packing tape adhere it to the zipper bags.
Make sure to include any directions with each game!
I hope this post has inspired you to organize your space. Make sure to tag me on instagram, I would love to see!
