I absolutely love this time of year, but it can also be a very chaotic. With kids going back to school, work schedules, holiday prepping and of course family coming over for a visit, it can become a bit too much. During this time of year I like to use tools that can help me save time, money and effort when cleaning my home.

Since we want our home to be clean (and stay that way) I have created a cleaning system that helps me stay on top of my cleaning routine. I paired with these amazing cleaning tools, which help me stay sane in an otherwise busy season.

Below I share a list of items that can help with those cleaning chores and make your holiday (and life) a bit easier:

1. Dremel Versa Cleaning Tool

I absolutely think everyone should have a powerful scrubber in their cleaning arsenal. It makes scrubbing a lot quicker and easier. Hence saving your sanity on those hard to clean places.

2. Hoover Vaccuum Cleaner

This vacuum would be great for deep cleaning your carpets. Especially high traffic areas.

3. Cleaning Towels

I love that these work like regular paper towels, but are reusable microfiber towels that you can wash and reuse, making them great for the environment.

4. Nitrile Cleaning Gloves

I use a variety of cleaning products in my home and some are not good for the skin. I use these gloves and a mask to help protect my skin and lungs from the fumes.

5. OXO Detail Brushes

These mini brushes have come in handy several times in my cleaning. They get in to those hard to reach areas (like behind the faucet) and clean small detail areas like my can opener.

6. Dry floor Cleaning Cloths

These are a great for light dusting and quick wipes throughout your home.

I love my spin mop. I especially like how you can control how wet or damp your mop head can be after a few spins. Very easy to maintain. I recommend this for sure!

I’ve used these products to help make cleaning my house as efficient as possible. I love my O-Cedar mop & mini brushes. Using these products and a cleaning schedule has helped me to make cleaning my home a much easier task.

I know what it’s like to have to clean a home from top to bottom. On those high energy days I try to capitalize on cleaning as much as I can in about 2 hours. I don’t do more than that because I tend to get burned out and leave unfinished projects. This also allows me to move on to other things needing my attention, I can spend the rest of my day with my family, watching tv, running errands or relaxing with a good book.
