A scented soap or essential oils always gets me in a festive mood. When I smell peppermint or “sugar cookie” when I wash my hands it just makes me happy.

I also love lighting up a candle after cleaning my home. It just makes the house feel cozy and festive. It’s the small things amiright?

5. Create or Decorate a Coffee/Cocoa Bar

If you have the space for a coffee/cocoa bar I definitely recommend it. I created one a few years back and it has been a blast! Every season I decorate it and I also stock it up with coffee and cocoa which makes it easy to have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate every morning.

Although it is so fun to decorate for the Holiday Season and I do recommend using pieces that can transition all year long. This will help minimize cost and you can always switch these items around in your home for a fun no cost room makeover.
