Easy DEEP FRIED OREOS Recipe That are so Good

Deep Fried Oreos are my favorite guilty pleasure to make in the Spring. I remember trying them for the first time years ago. It was soo good! Now I make them at home and since they are so easy to make you can too!

Now before you come at me, I know these are not good for you, that’s why I only make them every so often in the Spring but if I could I’d have them all the time.

What you’ll need to make these Easy Deep Fried Oreos:

To make these super Yummy Treats all you need are the following:

  • 1 cup Pancake Mix
  • 1 package of Oreos (I use regular but you can use Double Stuffed if you prefer)
  • 2 quarts of Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Making the batter is super simple. I just use any pancake mix I have available. To make mix follow the package directions. Making sure there are no lumps in the mix.
  2. Heat your oil in a frying pan 350°F, careful not over heat the oil or your oreos will burn.
  3. Now using a spoon or fork, dip your cookies in the batter making sure to fully cover the oreo. Then carefully place the batter covered oreos in the oil and let it cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure to flip the oreos over to cook both sides.
  4. Cook about 4 Oreos at a time and monitor the oil, it can be too hot quickly. Once Oreos are cooked, transfer them to a plate. I line mine with paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
  5. Last, sprinkle some powdered sugar and serve. Please be careful Oreos will be HOT!
  6. You can eat the oreo as is or serve the fried oreos with your favorite ice cream! I’ve never had it that way but I heard it’s good.

The best thing about making these Deep Fried Oreos is how easy they are to make! If you don’t like oreos (*gasp!) you can alway use other treats as well. You can deep fried a lot of goodies like, apples and other fruits, cookies and candy bars. Just be careful, the heat from the oil can melt them pretty quickly so you may have to adjust the heat accordingly!
